Nicolas Suter
Nicolas Suter was born in 1978 in Lausanne, Switzerland. He initially started his musical education by playing the violin during 10 years, before devoting himself exclusively to percussion. In 2005, he obtains a Concert Diploma with Congratulations at the Conservatoire de Lausanne in Stéphane Borel's class. The same year he is awarded the Leenaards Foundation scholarship.
Nicolas Suter plays with various orchestras, in particular the Orchestre de Chambre de Lausanne or the Orchestre du Festival d'Opéra d'Avenches.
He also performs as a solo marimbist and with several chamber music groups, of which the Adamas Trio.
His activities brought him to work with dance, circus and theatre companies, for which he creates or arranges the music.
